WhatsApp is being bought by Facebook in a deal worth as much as $19 billion – and this probably means we can expect other new features as it seeks to stand out from the competition and the voice calling feature will be added to WhatsApp during Q2 2014.
But after being acquired by Facebook for such a massive amount do existing and new users need to pay for Whatsapp for the yearly subscription charges ?
I think now being under facebook they need to find a new way out for Whatsapp revenue model, this whatsapp platform can be used for other premium features which user can pay and use as it would be absolutely insane to pay for just texting and few other feature which are now becoming very basic part of every chat application. So whatsapp need to rethink about this before other app run through whatspp
